The Schizophrenia Society of New Brunswick – (SSNB) is a non-profit community based organization began its formation in 1993 and became incorporated as a Provincial Board in 1996. SSNB is an arm of Schizophrenia Society of Canada. The first provincial board of SSNB was composed of members from two chapters: Saint John and Miramichi followed later by Moncton and Fredericton.

During the first few years SSNB was operating out of chapter offices, changing location whenever a new president was elected. In January 2007, Miramichi became the established provincial office within the SSNB- Miramichi Chapter location.
