The Schizophrenia Society of New Brunswick – (SSNB) is a non-profit community based organization that was first developed in 1986 as a family support group under the name of “Family and Friends” and joined the SSC in 1994.

SSNB was incorporated in 1996. Currently there are four Chapters: Miramichi, Fredericton, Moncton and Saint John.

Membership includes families, persons diagnosed with a major mental illness, concerned citizens and organizations working for the goals of the Society
