Walk of Hope is a major fundraiser that takes place annually on the first Sunday of May. Volunteers and members collect pledges and walk from the Miramichi Mall to the Knights of Columbus Hall where the participants can enjoy a light lunch, live entertainment and great door prizes.
Cow Patty Bingo/Family Fun Day is a unique fundraiser, held for the first time ever at the Napan Agricultural Show. For the purchase of a $5 square, you have a chance at winning $500. The day includes live entertainment, a B-B-Q, various children’s games and activities, door prizes and a 50/50 draw. Funds raised are used to promote educational programs as well as provide information on the most recent research and medical treatment.
Awareness Days at ANBL takes place one weekend in the summer. We have wonderful volunteers who sit at both locations in Miramichi to collect donations that are used to promote awareness and provide education of schizophrenia and psychosis and other mental illnesses.
Book Lovers Fall Fair (replacing the J. Dean McAllister Memorial Book Fair) is a new annual fundraiser created to provide and maintain valuable services to the Miramichi Community. The Book Fair is held at Northumberland Square Mall in September
